Patcher error

When I try to patch my games, (Mario kart, ssbb, etc) I get this:  You didn't copy over all the files! Check the download. Missing: OSLink.xml. Sometimes the screen goes blank and I can't do anything but turn the console off, other times, it just goes back to homebrew. Ive tried several versions and downloads, but none of them seem to work! If someone could help me, I'd really appreciate it, because when I found out about it, I was so hyped about playing multiplayer mariokart again :,
